Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Custom Software Engineering Clause

AkbarTech LLC provides custom software development, digital system architecture, and UI/UX design services. Because our deliverables are highly tailored and labor-intensive, all work is structured around explicit milestone deliverables defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

2. Non-Refundable Milestone Payments

Payments are made in stages according to the project's milestones. Once a milestone is reviewed, approved, and paid by the client, that payment represents completed work and is **fully non-refundable**.

  • Initial Deposits: The initial project deposit (typically 25% to 50% of the total estimate) covers project onboarding, design planning, requirement disclosures, and engineering environment configuration. This deposit is non-refundable once work commences.
  • Completed Milestones: Any intermediate milestone payments are non-refundable after the corresponding deliverables have been reviewed and accepted by the client.

3. Project Cancellation & Offboarding

Either party may terminate the project agreement upon ten (10) business days written notice.

In the event of cancellation by the client, the client agrees to pay AkbarTech LLC for all hours logged and milestone deliverables completed up to the date of termination. Any unearned portion of a deposit or advance payment will be returned to the client within thirty (30) days of project termination.

4. Hosting Subscription Cancellations

Managed cloud hosting plans are billed automatically on a recurring monthly cycle. Clients may cancel their managed hosting subscriptions at any time. Upon receiving a cancellation request, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid billing cycle, at which point hosting services will terminate, and no further recurring charges will be processed. We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for mid-cycle cancellations.

5. Disputes & Revisions

We strive to maintain a collaborative delivery workflow. If you are dissatisfied with a specific milestone, we provide a standard revision period (typically 7 to 14 days, as defined in the SOW) to address code adjustments before the milestone is finalized. Please submit all revision requests in writing to support@akbartech.net.
